Government-Enterprise Cooperation: Ningxia Jinghong Chemical Co., Ltd Successfully Hosted a Hazardous Chemical Emergency Drill

On November 21, 2024, organized by the Shizuishan Economic Development Zone Management Committee, Ningxia Jinghong Chemical Co., Ltd successfully hosted the annual emergency drill for production safety accidents involving hazardous chemicals. The drill received strong support and active participation from multiple units including the district Emergency Management Bureau and the Huinong branch of the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau.
The drill aimed to test and improve the operability and effectiveness of the company's emergency response plan through simulated real-world scenarios. It also aimed to strengthen the government-enterprise joint emergency response mechanism, enhance the emergency awareness of all employees, and improve the overall emergency response capability, thus laying a solid foundation for ensuring the company's safe production, employee safety, and environmental safety.
The drill simulated an emergency scenario where propylene leaked from the flange at the bottom of propylene sphere tank V-7002, causing a fire. The drill involved several key stages: initial response, information reporting, activation of the industrial park's emergency preparedness and response, establishment of the Shizuishan Economic Development Zone Production Safety Accident Emergency Command Center, command and dispatch, consultation and judgment, on-site handling, and termination of the emergency response.
In response to the simulated emergency, the company promptly activated its emergency response plan. Various emergency teams responded swiftly and effectively carried out crucial actions including on-site rescue, medical treatment, firefighting, and environmental monitoring. Through government-enterprise collaboration, the leak was successfully contained and eliminated, contaminated personnel were promptly treated, and the fire was extinguished. The drill was a complete success, ensuring zero casualties and no environmental pollution.
The company has conducted a thorough review of the drill results.
